Living in Savannah
Savannah was founded in 1733, which makes it Georgia's oldest city. It's famous for its historic squares, live oak trees and Spanish moss.
Downtown, you'll find the Historic District, Forsyth Park and River Street along the Savannah River. Many homes here are historic, with porches, brick and beautiful details.
Away from downtown, Savannah has neighborhoods of every age and style, from mid-century homes to newer communities. Some are close to the islands and marshes on the way to Tybee Island.
